He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Taylor Richard; and his parents, Antione Richard and Cecile Stelly Richard. He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Hollier (Jeremy), Adrienne Broussard (Craig, Jr.) and Alex Richard; his siblings, Barney Richard (Jaunita), Tony Richard (Cheryl), Myron Richard (Mary), Madeline Guidry and Connie Stelly (Todd); and his grandchildren, Brent Hollier (Macy Landry), Landon Hollier and Marley Broussard.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Arnaudville (314 St Landry St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A rosary was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the St. John Francis Regis Cemetery (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
