He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth H. Douet; his son Chris Douet; and his parents, Sidney Douet and Thelma Landry. He is survived by: his children, Randy Douet (Juanita) of Punta Gorda, FL, Cindy D. Trahan (Carl) of Lafayette and Jackie D. Babineaux (Russell) of Cade; his sisters, Beverly Kidder of Carencro and Norma Moran of Krotz Springs; his sister-in-law Suzanne Stelly of Arnaudville; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Douet, Erik Douet, Melanie Buell (Jake), Kim Senegal (Chris), Amanda Denais-Comeaux, Jessica B. Joubert (Justin) and Jonathon Babineaux (Stephanie). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
