He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pontiff and Agnes Latiolais Pontiff; and his brothers, Joseph Pontiff and Alvin Pontiff. He is survived by: his spouse Betty Mallet Pontiff; his children, Cassandra Ann Pontiff, Lisa Devillier (Richard), Brittany Breaux (Kyle), Dennis Pontiff (Brenda) and Dwayne Pontiff (Kathy); his grandchildren, Naomi Theriot (Luke), Kyle Pontiff (Kristen), Renee Delahoussaye (Dylan), Madison Doherty and Bobby Abbadie; his great grandchildren, Erin Theriot, Ethan Theriot, Evan Theriot, Gracie Lynn Delahoussaye, Noah Delahoussaye, Henry Joseph Pontiff and Fallon Rae Bearb (Jonathan); his great great grandchild Rheese Morvant; and his siblings, Marilyn Guidry, Octave Pontiff (Helen), Gerald Pontiff (Donna) and Allen Pontiff.
