With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eddy James LeCompte of Arnaudville, Louisiana, who passed away on March 21, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Joseph "Boy" LeCompte and Paulita "Pyo" Lalonde; and his brother Randy Jude LeCompte. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Pope LeCompte of Arnaudville; his children, James Michael LeCompte (Elizabeth) of Carencro and Emily Rene LeCompte (Duane Varnado) of Arnaudville; his grandchildren, Olivia Grace Young and Lucas Gene Young; and his siblings, Philip LeCompte (Linda) of Ponchatoula and Susan LeCompte Fields (David) of Paducah, KY. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
He always volunteered and donated to the St. Landry-Evangeline United Way and its events and fundraisers.
