He was predeceased by: his father Lester Joseph Chautin; his grandparents, Leon, Mary Chautin, Austin and Catherin Arnaud; and his niece Marcia Andrus.

He is survived by: his mother Peggy Jean Arnaud Chautin; and his siblings, Ricky Chautin (Lisa) of Cecilia, Anthony "Tony" Chautin (Monique) of Covington, Vicki Chautin Andrus (Dale) of Arnaudville and Mary "Kathy" Arnaud (Lonnie) of Arnaudville.
