He is survived by: his children, Shawn Christopher Lastrapes (Hannah) of Broussard, Johna Michael Lastrapes and Emily Rene Parra (Leonardo) of Scott; the mother of his children Peggy Naab of Scott; his grandson Paxton Rico Parra; his parents, James Andrew Lastrapes and Geraldine Boss; his siblings, David Andrew Lastrapes of Youngsville and Sydney Louise Huddson of Leroy; and his godson Travis LaCombe.
