He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre LaPorte, Sr. and Cecil Frederick; his siblings, Eric LaPorte, Harry Patrick LaPorte, Marvin Laporte, Pierre LaPorte, Jr., Frederick LaPorte, Rita Mae Kidder and Janice LaPorte; and his sisters-in-law, Norma LaPorte and Jeanette LaPorte.
He is survived by: his brothers, Lloyd LaPorte (Arlene) of Tucson, AZ and LeeRoy LaPorte of Arnaudville; and his sisters-in-law, Sandra LaPorte and Jeanne LaPorte.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 7:00 AM at the Melancon Funeral Home (224 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
