He was predeceased by: his son Randy James Taylor; his parents, Bertrand Taylor and Cecile Marks; and his siblings, Lee Taylor, Abbe Taylor, Wilton Taylor, Dudley Taylor, Louise T. Miller, Ruth T. Stelly and Evelyn T. Marks.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lalonde of Arnaudville; his daughters, Cynthia Ann Olivier (Kirk) of The Woodlands, TX and Rachelle Lanclos (Dwayne) of Arnaudville; his grandchildren, Casey Phinney (Brad), Jake Olivier (Jade Garcia) and Tye Lanclos (Mackenzie Courville); his great grandchildren, Madison, Jaxon Olivier, Graham and Blake Phinney; and his siblings-in-law, Adolph Pontiff, Evangeline "Pip" Richard, Lee Pontiff and Juanita Lalonde.
Due to the restrictions of the current COVID-19 pandemic limiting gatherings to 10 or fewer family members, a private service will be held for immediate family only.
