He was predeceased by: his parents, John Duperville Meche and Effie Marie Quebedeaux; his father-in-law Jimmy Stelly; and his siblings-in-law, Craig Stelly, Ira Gross and Jamie Stelly.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lynn Meche; his daughters, Monique Marie Guidry (Jude) and Ferin Lynn Meche (Brad Smith); his grandson Hunter Michael Meche; his brother Edward Paul Meche; his sisters-in-law, Tina Richard and Lisa Gross; his mother-in-law Margaret Stelly; his godchild Chris Meche (Shana); his nephews, Casey Young (Jonathan), Andrew Gross, Alex Gross, Lance Stelly (Amanda), Mitchell Lagneaux (Jen) and Michael Lagneaux; and his great-nieces, Nora James and Ryleigh Stelly.
