He was predeceased by: his parents, Gervais Taylor, Sr. and Eugenie Stelly Taylor; his daughter Lita Taylor; and his siblings, Gervais Taylor, Jr., Shirley T. Cormier and Louise T. Latiolais.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Devillier Taylor; his children, Tommy Taylor (Harriet) and Vereska T. Touchet (Rod); his stepsons, Eric Theriot and David Theriot (Gina); his grandchildren, Sara Broussard (Brent), Christina Huval (Chuck), Josh Touchet, Roderick "Splook" Touchet (April), Corky "Tboo" Delahoussaye (Anissa), Kyle Delahoussaye (Brittany), Hanna Delahoussaye and Kenneth Delahoussaye; his stepgrandchildren, Alyssa Theriot and Corrie Saunier; and his siblings, Elsie Taylor Hebert (Jessie), Jessie Taylor (Priscilla) and Leland Taylor (Linda). He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
