She was predeceased by: her husband Ervin Gene Brown; her son Edward "Scooter" Brown; her mother Hazel Burgess; and her brother Wilfred Earl Burgess, Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Penny Johns (Darren); her grandchildren, Hunter Johns (Kirsten) and Gena Johns; her great grandchildren, Larkin Johns and Clayton Johns; and her siblings, Mary Watson (Fred), Marie Clark and Tommy Burgess (Dolly). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew.
