It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarette Lucille Hales (Archibald, Louisiana), who passed away on January 3, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband X. V. Hales; her daughters, Joyce Hales Spillers and Betty Hales; her grandchildren, Garland Hales and Tammy Morris; and her daughter-in-law Candace Hales.
She is survived by: her children, James Hales (Ruth) of Archibald, L. C and Karen Hales Baird (Everett) of Monroe; her sisters, Catherine Gross of West Monroe and Barbara Ann Reppond; and her grandchildren, Angie, Jeff, Jamie, Tiffany, Denise, Charles H., Tony and Charles S.. She is also survived by grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
