He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Penix and Ruby Almond Penix; and his sister Nita Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Mary Edwards Penix; his children, Jeff Penix (Amanda) and Shelle Feazell (Rick); his stepchildren, John Danforth and Jarred Spurlock (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Colin Feazell, Emily Danforth, Hayden Danforth, Kimberly Danforth, Ansley Danforth and Grace Spurlock; his great grandchild Caitlin Feazell; and his siblings, Dyne Woods and Hardy Penix (Jo). He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
