He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Johnson and Jewel Johnson; his siblings, Jimmy Johnson and Gwen Johnson; and his daughter Wendy Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Lib Johnson; his children, Patricia Williams (Greg) and Walter Johnson; his grandchildren, Haley Woods, Morgan, Clif Woods (Lacee), Bailey Womack (Cody) and Hayden Williams; his great grandchildren, Chloe, Alee, Chase, Olivia, Carter, Bryson and Remington Wayne; and his siblings, Dan Johnson, Kenneth Johnson (Emily), Tommy Johnson (Laura) and Mary Ann Daniel. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
