She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Caston and Leola Holley Caston; her husband William Louie Holmes; her son William Carlton Holmes; and her siblings, Russ Caston, Gene Caston and Laverne Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Boggs (Ray), Mark Holmes (Tracy) and Karen Newlen (Ken); and her grandchildren, Chris Boggs (Katherine), Lindsey Ducote (Landry), Hunter Boggs (Morgan), Matthew Holmes (Jessica), Luke Holmes (Andrea), Josh Newlen (Pam), Jordan Newlen (McKenzie) and Alex Holmes. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews.
