She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Woodard and Rachel Tawwatters Woodard; her husband Jimmy M. Shelton; her daughter Linda Wright; and her sisters, Eleanor Beers, Gloria Richardson and Annie Murial Colvin.
She is survived by: her children, Dianna Perkins and Marvin Shelton (Deborah). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
