He is survived by: his children, Cindy Whittington (Kevin), Becki Patrick (Nick), Paul DeSoto (Katherine) and Matt DeSoto (Shelly); his grandchildren, Kristy Hamilton, Devon Whittington, Sean Whittington, Claire Patrick, Jessie DeSoto, Kaitlynn Patrick, Jenna Patrick, Bryson Patrick, George DeSoto and Sam DeSoto; his siblings, Edwin DeSoto (Pat), Larry DeSoto (Wendy), Diane (Doug), Donna (Kenneth) and Deborah (Mike); and his caregivers, Kathleen Lenard and Rainey Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many other cherished family and friends.
