She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Perry Volentine and Elnora Stevens Volentine (Woodard Christian); her grandson Graham Christian; and her sister Jimmie Jones. She is survived by: her children, Joanie Christian, Bobby Christian (Tammy) and Todd Christian; her grandchildren, Wesley, April, Christopher, Amanda, Travis, Kevin, Haley, Damian, Daniel and Ashley; her siblings, Alton Volentine (Barbara), Phillip Volentine (Pam), Dale Volentine, Ruby Hodges (Donnie), Rose Cranford, Nelda Alexander (John) and Gale Land; and her brother-in-law Tony Jones. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
