He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Huey Cheatwood, Sr. and Georgia Driggers Cheatwood Graham; his daughter Carla Anderson; and his brother Gerald Cheatwood. He is survived by: his wife Anita Graham Cheatwood; his children, Alan Cheatwood and Connie Kennedy (Randy); his grandchildren, Jehna Stephens, Allysonn Evans (Joshua), Sarah Cheatwood, Caleb Kennedy (Laura) and Hoye Kennedy (Elizabeth Busher); his great grandchild Iris Evans; his sister Bernice Dans; and his sister-in-law Diane Cheatwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose Neath Funeral Homes - Arcadia (1680 1st St, Arcadia, LA 71001). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Old Saline Baptist Church Cemetery (5280 Ridge Rd, Castor, LA 71016).
