With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ellis of Arcadia, Louisiana, who passed away on August 1, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, DeWitt Christian and Maudie Bell Woodard Christian; her husband James Ellis; her siblings, Herbert Christian, Woodard Christian and Estelle Christian; and her half-brothers, Purvis Christian and Ralph Christian.
She is survived by: her children, Jason Ellis, Tanya Lay, Krystal Pearce (Marc), Brandon Ellis, Amy, Brittani Grafton (Mark) and Michael Ellis (Brooke); her grandchildren, Trent Ellis, Chandler, Aiden, Ethan, Everly, Ellis Pearce, Tayler, Christian Ellis, Kloey and Kohen Ellis; her great grandchild Lainey Ellis; and her brothers, Kenneth Christian and Louis Christian (Marzel). She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
