We bid farewell to Adelle Waits of Arcadia, Louisiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2024 at the age of 98. Adelle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Bearden Foster and Eva Jane Lee Foster (Ogemaw); her former husband A. L. Waits of Arcadia; and her siblings, Ozelle Lucky, Corbin Foster of Howard Foster, J. D, Wanda Lou McDaniel and Jimmie Green.
She is survived by: her husband Arcadia Cleaners; her children, Lonnie J. Waits of Arcadia, Louisiana and Ruth Ann Waits Hunt (John T. Hunt) of Livermore, California; and her grandchildren, John P. Hunt of Davis, California, Christina Waits Menefee of Burlington, Kentucky, Jeffery P. Hunt of Albuquerque, Thomas W. Hunt of Albuquerque, Joshua C. Waits of Monroe, Louisiana and Joseph A. Waits, Sr. of Arcadia, Louisiana.. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
