He was predeceased by: his parents, James Franklin Martin Jr. and Regina Joanne Martin (Simkus); his grandparents, James F. Martin Sr., Lillian Gertrude Martin, John and Anne Simkus; and his brother-in-law Steven S. Korando.
He is survived by: his wife Fay Noel Martin (Esler); his daughters, Renee Kathleen Martin and Sarah Jean Martin; his grandchildren, Keynan Darnell Davis, Keyshaun Donell Davis, Jermel Kirk Bailey, Lilah Jean Oltmann and Madelyne Scott Oltmann; his siblings, James Martin III (Judy), Karen Jean Korando and Francine Louise McCormick; and his close friend Mark Testa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
