With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Margaret Benfatti of Arabi, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on February 10, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Collura and Angelina Fardella; and her close friend Clem Hurstel. She is survived by: her sister Cecelia "Sissy" Collura (John "Jack" Stout); her former husbands, Louis Benfatti, Mark Anthony Benfatti (Donna) and Michael Joseph Benfatti; her spouse Melissa Ann Benfatti; her grandchildren, Mandy Benfatti Pierre (Jean-Paul), Megan Benfatti Browning (Jeremy) and Dana Vicknair Philpott (Alex); and her great grandchildren, Reece Anthony Pierre, Camrin Faye Pierre, Baylor-Grace Pierre, Alynn Elise Pierre, Hudson Oliver Browning, Wade Elliott Philpott and Hannah Elise Browning.
