He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hartzog; his children, Gilbert Hartzog, Jr. (Charlyn), Gabe Hartzog (Jammie), Randy Hartzog (Heidi) and Annie McLain (Scott); his grandchildren, Emily Cooper (Brad), Haley Hartzog, Hannah Ly (Corey), Brett Hartzog, Lexie Hartzog, Grant Hartzog (Alex), Cory Lafont (Kirstie Thibodaux), Casey Lafont, Colby Passmore (Patricia), Caleb Passmore (Alicia Roblero), Cloey Passmore, Noah and Caleb McLain; his great grandchildren, Bailey, Brady Cooper, Kash, Karter Magee, Isabella Hartzog, Kase Hartzog, Kennady, Oakley Ly and Axel Lafont; and his sisters, Sylvia Bell (Bobby) and Patricia Maples (James).
