He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Cryer and Zella Calhoun Cryer; his wife Malvis Cryer; and his son Michael Cryer. He is survived by: his children, Sheila Speaks, Tina File, Ginger Ivan (Kirk), Leta Collins and Brent Cryer (Apryl) of Mississippi; his brother Fred Cryer of Anacoco; and his sisters-in-law, Edna Cryer, Betty Taylor (Roger), Hazel Leap and Sue Gaskin.
