He was predeceased by: his son Joe Evans Jr.; and his sister Martha Collins. He is survived by: his wife Alice Marie Evans of Anacoco; and his children, Alice Ann Schemett of Beaufort, S. C, Laura Smith of Beaufort, S. C, Kenneth Long Sr. of Beaufort, S. C and Bobbi Evans Blansit of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of good friends.
