It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Mae Farris of Anacoco, Louisiana, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Goines and Vera Slay Goines; and her son Chester Smith. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Farris of Anacoco, LA.; her son Tommy Ray Smith of Anacoco, LA.; and her sisters, Ruthie Mae Dees of Shreveport, LA., Betty Sue Rascoe of Anacoco, LA., Wanda Jean Prewitt of Nederland, TX. and Vera Janell Fox of Anacoco, LA.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
