She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wesley and Daisy Joyce Perkins McInnis; her husband Joseph R. "Joe" Dowden; her daughter Sally Ann Dowden; her sister Gatha Merchant; and her great grandchild Kyndal Rain Dowden.
She is survived by: her children, David Dowden (Jack) of New Orleans, Gary, Tracie Dowden of Anacoco and Charles Dowden of Anacoco; her brother Russell McInnis (Robin) of Anacoco; her grandchildren, Charlie Dowden (Stormi), Ashlie Dowden Vera (Kaylen) and Calyn Dowden; and her great grandchild Roland Dowden.
