He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Manuel Curtis, Sr. and Eula Chance Curtis; and his siblings, Archie Cryer, Milton Cryer, William Cryer Sr. (Uncle Bill), Charlie Manuel Curtis Jr. (Uncle Jack), Josephine Curtis Berry (Aunt Jo), Johnnie Wilton Curtis, Freddie Curtis, Edgar Curtis (Willow) and Roy Lee Curtis, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Alice Luvenia Johnson. He is also survived by six daughters.
