He is survived by: his wife Sheila Roberts Broyles; his son Samuel Eugene Broyles; his grandchildren, Samantha Broyles Miller and Robert Eugene Broyles; and his nieces and nephews, Tam Blair, Wayne Blair, James Ellis Alford, Dalton Alford, Missy Alford, Don Alford, Kristi Alford, Lisa Magee, Scott Magee, Gail Ashby and Frank Ashby.
