She was predeceased by: her parents, John Otis Simmons and Audrey Miller Simmons; her siblings, Gerald Simmons, Boyce Otis Simmons, Shirley Elaine Holden and Dorothy Elizabeth Montgomery; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Simmons.
She is survived by: her siblings, James Claiborne Simmons, Earl Wayne Simmons and Ara Jane Westmoreland (Alton). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
