He is survived by: his wife Cewilla Faye Allen Strong; his children, Tracy Carter (Ira), Brian Keith Strong, Robin Watkins Delatte (Shea) and Jimmy Strong (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Kayla Dunnington, Kory Nelson Strong, Cameron James Strong, Lewis Watkins, Addie Watkins, Jackson Strong, Judson Strong, Stephanie Pierce, Sonny Pierce (Alaina), Emily Kleinpeter (Hunter) and Tyler "T. J." Strong; his great grandchildren, Catori Dunnington and Clara Pierce; and his siblings, Anne Holcomb and Michael Wayne Strong.
