With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Benton Field of Amite, Louisiana, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on October 2, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Kent Field and Patsy Green Field Istre; and his stepfather Kenneth Istre. He is survived by: his wife Alison Field; his children, Chris Bordelon (Rae Lynn), Dr. April Kemp (Jonathan) and Richie Field (Kelly); his grandchildren, Grace, Gretchen, Hayden, Allie Kate, Preston and Raegan; his sisters, Tanya (Bill) and SuEllan (Carmon); his nephew Brad; his niece Mandy; and his stepsiblings, Kathy (Roland), Kristy (Lane) and Kenny (Natalie).
