He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Miracle Thomas; his parents, Herbert Thomas and Addie McKnight Muse; and his mother-in-law Virgie Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Thomas; and his children, Lisha Thomas Berry (Theron), Toneita Thomas, Berneti Thomas, Arlene McKnickles (Lawerence), Keith Thomas (Jennifer), Brian Thomas, Larry Thomas (Rovonne), Kenneth Thomas, Eric Thomas (Marvina) and Eugene Thomas, Jr.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
