She was predeceased by: her father Wiley Blades. She is survived by: her mother Karolyn Sue Blades; her sister Cheryl Lanette Fairburn; her nieces and nephews, Holli Howard (David Green), Neela Howard and Wiley Howard; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew (Sarah), Landon, Jacqui and Hannah; her former husband Duke Kent; and her close friend Rango.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Susan G. Komen, The American Cancer Society, and Mt. Vernon Baptist Church (4923 Mt Vernon Rd, Liberty, MS 39645).
