It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Irwin (Amite, Louisiana), born in Eunice, Louisiana, who passed away on December 1, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William K. "Bill" Irwin; her parents, Alcius Louis Guillory and Isabelle Dardeau Guillory; and her brothers, Raymond Guillory, Francis Guillory and Herbert Guillory.
She is survived by: her children, Michael William Irwin, Susan Lagsdin, Robert Grey Irwin, Jacqueline Shockley, Lynne Marie Vance, Charley Vance, Scott Patrick Irwin, Peggy Irwin, Mary Elizabeth Chapman and Bryan Chapman; her grandchildren, Will Vance, Ben Vance, Christopher Irwin, Billy Chapman, Sam Chapman, Rebecca Chapman, Laura Beth Chapman, Anna Chapman, Amelia Vetter and Jeff Irwin; her great grandchildren, Hayes Vance, Henry Vance and Emaleigh Irwin; and her siblings, Lucille Orzeske, Maggie Guidroz, Al Guillory, Jeanell Robideaux and Amy Robideaux. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Amite's local chapter of St. Vincent de Paul c/o St. Helena Catholic Church.
