She was predeceased by: her husband George D. Miller; her parents, Elvin R. Bush and Bashie Hano Bush; and her sisters, Shirley Bush Tycer and Marguerite Bush Chaplain.

She is survived by: her children, Ginger Claire Miller Hutto (Stan) and George "Andy" Miller (Lorna); her grandchildren, Mandy Pierre, Christopher Miller (Ashley), Joseph Hutto (Ashley) and Kathryn McElveen (Malcolm); her great grandchildren, Caleb Thompson, Emmalyne Hutto, Amelia Hutto, Joseph Wayne Hutto, Delilah May Hutto, Ella Claire McElveen, Elijah McElveen and John Levi McElveen; and her brother Robert J. Bush.
