With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Wilson Dees Courtney of Amite, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2022 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Wallace A. Dees, Jr.; her husband Edwin Courtney; and her parents, Howard Wilson and Ethel Wilson. She is survived by: her children, Wally Dees (Amber), Richard S. Dees, Kerri Dees Ardillo (Jay) and Brian P. Dees (Michelle); her grandchildren, Adam Dees, Matt Dees (Heather), Patrick Dees (Jessica), Daniel Dees (Brianne), Benjamin Dees, Amy Dees Woodard (Trent), Joseph Ardillo, Jonathan Ardillo, Courtney Schumacher (Sheila), Hayden Schumacher, Danny Edwards, Zachary Edwards (Bailey) and Kaleb Hebert; and her sister Linda Wilson Travis (Dennis). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
