He was predeceased by: his parents, Dedric Warren Cutrer, Sr. and Lorine Bankston Cutrer; his grandson Braden Cutrer; and his siblings, Zelton Cutrer, Dedric Warren Cutrer, Jr., Marie Cutrer McAnelly, Jimmy Ray Cutrer and Evon Cutrer.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ridgedell Cutrer; his children, James D. Cutrer, Sr. (Marcy), Michael W. Cutrer (Jennifer) and Melissa Cutrer Castello (Bobby); his grandchildren, James D. Cutrer, Jr., Phillip Hunter Cutrer (Harley), Annie Ball, Allison Ball, Chase Barnes, Addison Hughes (Chase) and Trinity Castello; his great grandchild Wesson Barnes; and his sister Lettie Mae Carpenter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (16238 Union Church Rd, Amite City, LA 70422). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
