She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph M. "Sonny" McCoy; her parents, Chester Smith and Vernie Smith; her son-in-law Ronny Smith; and her siblings, Charles H. Smith, Velma Warren and Norma Jean Bel.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Jordan (Wayne), Joey McCoy (Sonya) and Caro Smith; her grandchildren, Whittany Starns (Kevin), Evan Jordan (Taylor), Amy Sweat (Rodney), Robyn Smith (Ben), Brooke Roncancio Trey (Edgar), Christian and Gabby Smith; her stepgrandchildren, George Jordan, Chris Jordan and Aimee Stafford; her great grandchildren, Nolen, Etta Jane, Andi, Grady, Olli Kate, Ryne, Remi, Carson and Myles; her brother Derwood Smith (Carolyn); and her sister-in-law Mamie Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in her memory be made to Kedron Baptist Church.
