He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulon Luther Simmons and Myrtis Moore Simmons; his sister Patricia Simmons Peterson; and his nephew Dwain Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Bodi Simmons (Vanessa) and Charlee Simmons Wedgeworth (Lance); his grandchildren, McKenzie, Weston Simmons, Cooper, Lane, Justin and Harper Wedgeworth; and his brother Rick Ledoux. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
