Dampeer of Amite, Louisiana, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton "Smokey" M. Dampeer and Wilma Holland Dampeer McDonald; and his brother Clifton "Tony" W. Dampeer. He is survived by: his wife Susan Rouse Dampeer; his children, Tracy Dampeer Fletcher (John Leslie Fletcher Jr.) and Clint M. Dampeer (Dana Mixon Dampeer); and his grandchildren, Lakin Fletcher, Cade Fletcher, Patience Dampeer, Cody Singleton (Allison Richard Singleton) and Colton Singleton.
