She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Dees and Thelma Dees; and her siblings, Jean Dees Watson, Lee and Earl Dees.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph Edward Frickey, Jr.; and her children, Douglas Frickey (Mary), Lynn F. Becnel (Stewart), Laurie F. Hendrickson and Leia Frickey. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that any memorials be given to Mater Dolorosa Catholic School in Independence, Louisiana.
