Elizabertha Miller Forshag Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabertha Miller Forshag of Amite, Louisiana, born in Chataignier, Louisiana, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband E. Norwood Forshag; her parents, Aliday Miller and Agnes Fontenot Miller; her brothers, Vernon Miller (Jency) and Roland Miller; her parents-in-law, Elmer Presley Forshag and Ione Norwood Forshag; and her sister-in-law Betty Forshag.
She is survived by: her children, Colonel Russell Forshag, Gay New (Charlie), Connie Guzzardo (David), Diana Petitto (Anthony "Possum") and Ann Stevens (Brent); her siblings-in-law, Nela Miller and Clarence "Toby" Forshag; and her caregiver Lillie Warren. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
