He is survived by: his wife Susan Juniel Cefalu; his daughter Cameron Cefalu Simmons (David); his grandchildren, Sophia Simmons, Tristan Simmons and Maxwell Cefalu; his sisters, Mary Helen Cefalu Lokey, Kathy Cefalu and Martha Lee Cefalu Palotta; and his cousin Tom Ed Brumfield.

The family request donations may be made to Companion Animal Alliance of Baton Rouge.
