It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy McDaniel (Amite, Louisiana), born in Atlanta, Texas, who passed away on February 27, 2019, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Dot; her daughter Georgia Aden (Wendell); her sister Neva Dickerson (S. W.); her grandchildren, Deborah Borel (Warren), Sandra Lelleck (Alan), Neda Watts (Maurice), April Assavedo (Roger) and Misty Betz (Jim); her parents, Claude Jackson and Winnie Jackson; her grandson Jerald L. Aden; and her siblings, Marlin Jackson, Monard Jackson, Wayne Jackson and Loretta Pruitt. She was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
