She was predeceased by: her spouse James Butler; her daughters, Jane A. Parker and Joyce Bell Ladner; her grandchildren, Kenneth Bell, Demetris Jackson, Calvin, Kevin, Ashley, Eric Alexander, Barry McKee and Broderick McKee; and her siblings, Gussie Fairley, Charles Addison and Ernest Addison.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Jackson (Monia), Priscilla Alexander, Vanessa Duplessis Rebecca Hudson (late Wardell), Harry Alexander (Grace), Kevin Alexander (Shirley) and Caretha Thompson (Johnell).
