It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Horton Jones of Amite, Louisiana, who passed away on March 1, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Paula Rodriguez Jones; his parents, Horton Jones and Thelma Sanders Jones; and his siblings, Imelda Tlapa (Rita) and Paul Hampton Jones.

He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Jones Silessi (Frank) and Darlene Jones Turner; and his grandchildren, Trudy Offner Barnett (Stephen Binning), Peter Silessi (Allison), Jennifer Silessi Labbe (Stephen) and Jason Silessi (Amber). He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
