He was predeceased by : his parents, Roger Brown, Sr. and Annette Pinault Brown; his grandparents, Abner Brown, Sr., Esther Golman Brown, John Pinault and Ursula Spring Pinault; and his brother Roger Brown, Jr..

He is survived by : his children, Leah Landrew (Erlest, III), Davina "Alice" Smith (Ryan), Tiffany King (TJ Harris) and David Andrew "Andy" Brown (Sarah); his grandchildren, Lamyia, Laterrica, Erlest "Alex", IV, Trevor, Layla Landrew, Kaylee, Aubree Brown, Madison, Alivia, Andrew "Drew" Smith, Emilee, Karsen, Adalynn King, Jett and Landon Harris; his brother Ricky Brown (Kerri); and his sister-in-law Louise Brown.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mt. Nebo Baptist Church (64671 LA-1054, Roseland, LA 70456). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
