He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Graves Slade; his children, Sydney Slade and Logan Slade; his stepchildren, Lane Coplin and Brianna Coplin; his parents, Ruby Slade and Charles Slade; his stepmother Nancy Slade; and his siblings, Charles Bradley Slade (Pam) and Rebecca "Becky" Slade.
